Heads up: per-class dues are provisional while we finalize a regular venue. Once that's set, rates settle and we'll add monthly and multi-class options.
Everything you pay us is membership dues. We're organized as a 501(c)(7) social club, which means most of our funding has to come from member dues rather than outside revenue. So there's no "class fee" as such: when you pay for a session, you're paying dues that support the club and cover your training that night.
Insurance: after about 2 months of training with us, you'll need a $30/year HEMA Alliance membership, which carries the insurance that covers you on the floor. That's paid directly to the HEMA Alliance and is separate from your club dues — we don't take a cut. Everyone signs the HEMA Alliance waiver before their first session either way; see Waivers.
